Etihad are a fast growing Middle Eastern airline based in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Etihad are a cash rich company with massive expansion plans and are often compared with their larger and more established Dubai-based rival Emirates. Etihad currently operate regular daily flights to Abu Dhabi from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports in London, with new flights from Manchester to Abu Dhabi set to start at the end of March 2006.
