Gulf Air plans direct flights to DubaiHYDERABAD: Bahrain's Gulf Air will begin its non-stop service to Dubai from July 1.
The Hyderabad service will become the eighth destination for Gulf Air in India and it will increase total India frequencies to 68 weekly or 11,500 seats per week, Gulf Air CEO Bjorn Naf, said in a statement.
The route will be operated by using an Airbus A320-200, offering business and economy classes.

Gulf Air, Bahrain's national carrier, will launch a new direct route to/from Shanghai during next week's 2008 Asia Luxury Travel Market event in Shanghai.

The new flight service will begin this summer, and further details will be announced at the region's most prominent luxury travel show, which opens on 17 June at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre. "China is one of the fastest growing economies in the world and for Gulf Air it is strategically important to launch direct services to this booming market," says Bjoern Naef, Gulf Air Chief Executive Officer.
