Indonesian Plane Crashes into Graveyard

Emergency workers today retrieved the body of the pilot of an Indonesian plane that crashed during landing in the country's worst air accident in six years.
At least 32 people were killed in the crash and 40 others were injured when the Lion Air plane smashed through a fence at the end of the runway and ended up in a graveyard outside Adi Sumarmo airport in Solo, a central Javanese town about 500 kilometres southeast of the capital Jakarta.

The body of the pilot of the MD-82 was recovered from under the plane's nose early today, said airline spokesman Hasyim Arsal
